This homeowner which we helped out right here in PTC needed several walls and surfaces around her house repainted.
She and her husband and daughter had recently purchased this local house which was only a couple of years old, but even so, still required a few touch-ups here and there.
Yet, they both felt compelled to invest in the future of their new home by hiring our professional painting services to help make it look and feel like it was theirs personally now.
One of the main things that we helped assist with for this project involved painting over several walls in which some leftover wallpaper paste had actually begun to start seeping down.
A common complaint that many customers have when this happens is that it makes their walls not only look but also feel sticky.
But how exactly does this happen?
Whenever some wallpaper has just been freshly removed, it's sometimes the case that a homeowner will then transition immediately into painting over it with some latex paint before properly cleaning off any remaining residue paste.
However, since latex paint is porous enough to allow external moisture to permeate into it, this then allows for underlying wallpaper paste to be reactivated. Thus, the sticky seeping begins.
Using a prepainting disinfectant followed by an oil or shellac-based primer prior to repainting a seeping wall is sure to help resolve this issue in no time though, and that's exactly what we were able to do in this case.
Once finished, this customer was thrilled to see the results of her freshly painted walls and was glad to finally be rid of all that old, sticky residue too.

This customer's kitchen cabinets resided right here in Peachtree City, so this was a very local project for us.
Their kitchen already had a lot of potential for a better feel right off the bat, and in this specific case, a white cabinet coating is just what the doctor ordered.
During our prep phase, we took off and lightly sanded down each cabinet, drawer, and cupboard surface.
We then covered and taped off all non-paint surfaces including kitchen appliances, the floor, the backsplash, any nearby overhangs, surrounding windows, and so on.
Then, we finally went to work doing what we love.
Once all of it was done drying and being untaped, a conglomeration of 32 cabinets, drawers, and cupboards were completely transformed into an all-white vision straight out of a homecare magazine.
And here at Mr. Painter in Peachtree City, GA, we pride ourselves on producing those same results over and over again, every single time.
A fellow Peachtree City-ian got in contact with us in regards to having the floor of their garage epoxied.
We asked them a few preliminary questions at first such as: how big is the garage, did they have a specific epoxy in mind, had their garage ever been epoxied before, and so on.
Once we got a better feel for what would be involved with the project, we then asked if they were thinking of having it does sooner versus later.
They then told us that they'd like it to be epoxied as soon as possible, a request to which we are almost always more than happy accommodate.
