This homeowner which we helped out right here in PTC needed several walls and surfaces around her house repainted.
She and her husband and daughter had recently purchased this local house which was only a couple of years old, but even so, still required a few touch-ups here and there.
Yet, they both felt compelled to invest in the future of their new home by hiring our professional painting services to help make it look and feel like it was theirs personally now.
One of the main things that we helped assist with for this project involved painting over several walls in which some leftover wallpaper paste had actually begun to start seeping down.
A common complaint that many customers have when this happens is that it makes their walls not only look but also feel sticky.
But how exactly does this happen?
Whenever some wallpaper has just been freshly removed, it's sometimes the case that a homeowner will then transition immediately into painting over it with some latex paint before properly cleaning off any remaining residue paste.
However, since latex paint is porous enough to allow external moisture to permeate into it, this then allows for underlying wallpaper paste to be reactivated. Thus, the sticky seeping begins.
Using a prepainting disinfectant followed by an oil or shellac-based primer prior to repainting a seeping wall is sure to help resolve this issue in no time though, and that's exactly what we were able to do in this case.
Once finished, this customer was thrilled to see the results of her freshly painted walls and was glad to finally be rid of all that old, sticky residue too.

This customer's kitchen cabinets resided right here in Peachtree City, so this was a very local project for us.
Their kitchen already had a lot of potential for a better feel right off the bat, and in this specific case, a white cabinet coating is just what the doctor ordered.
During our prep phase, we took off and lightly sanded down each cabinet, drawer, and cupboard surface.
We then covered and taped off all non-paint surfaces including kitchen appliances, the floor, the backsplash, any nearby overhangs, surrounding windows, and so on.
Then, we finally went to work doing what we love.
Once all of it was done drying and being untaped, a conglomeration of 32 cabinets, drawers, and cupboards were completely transformed into an all-white vision straight out of a homecare magazine.
And here at Mr. Painter in Peachtree City, GA, we pride ourselves on producing those same results over and over again, every single time.
Most cabinet painting projects tend to involve the transition from regular, brown oak-colored cabinet colors to a more modern washed-out white.
This is a great transformation for virtually any living space, but if the conditions are ripe, then it's possible to push this edge even further.
In a recent case with a customer local to the Peachtree City, GA area, we actually took their already sleek-white kitchen cabinets and took them to the next level: a deep, resonating red.
This was honestly one of only a handful of projects which we've done that have involved such a radical color transformation, but we were honored to have a part in making this initial concept a reality.
Laura loved her house and everything about it except the kitchen cabinets. They had hired a painter to paint the bathroom cabinets and she was very unhappy with the results. She called for an estimate, inquired about the process and voiced her concerns about the previous paint job on her kitchen cabinets.
I explained to her how we paint cabinets completely different than anyone else around. How our finish is one of a kind and much cheaper than other alternative options with either new cabinets or refacing them.
Finished cabinets are close to perfect as they can be. Incredible smooth finish that will last for years! Easy to maintain and keep clean.
We are happy to have you on this finished project page. We've created this page to show everyone the amazing transformation that we do with kitchen cabinets.

We have done many more kitchen cabinets in the area but have just not found the time to document every single job. However, we were really eager to provide even more before and after pictures and during videos of the process. That is why we took the extra effort to document this recent cabinet painting job in Peachtree City.
As the pictures indicate the color and look of the cabinets was brown with a natural wood look. The homeowner had recently purchased the home and loved their new home but were not in love with the kitchen.
Why?
They didn't like the look of the cabinets and were not sure what to do. They had a couple options. They could pay to have someone rip out the cabinets and replace them with brand new cabinets in the color and design they wanted. This option was the most expensive.
They could go with a newer method called cabinet refacing. This is less expensive than paying someone to build brand new cabinets or ordering brand new cabinets and paying for an installer.
The third option is to have a professional paint company that specializes in cabinet painting and refinishing to come in and completely change the look of their cabinets without getting new cabinets or refacing current cabinets.
The 3rd option (painting the cabinets) is the lowest cost of the three.
